Dear IMHN Member
We have been asked by the Trust to share some information about the closure of the Crisis House and the launch of the new Crisis Overnight Support Service with you – please refer below:
‘This is just a quick email to let you know that the Crisis House in Redhill, which provided respite stays for people in mental health crisis, has now closed as of the end of January.
A new Crisis Overnight Support Service, which launched on 1st February 2018, is now running across Surrey and north east Hampshire as an additional alternative to home treatment or a hospital admission for those who could benefit from a short stay away from home to support their recovery. The new service is accessed via our Home Treatment Teams and the accommodation is provided by our three supported living partner providers.
These changes have enabled funding to be diverted to secure the ongoing future of the four Safe Havens in Surrey and there is more information about this on our website.
Kind regards
